TRAINING CENTER PROGRAMS
The Advanced Manufacturing Technician program (AMT) offers a unique opportunity to earn a wage while attending college and gain priceless work experience with a global manufacturing leader. This allows you to enter the job market with less educational debt, more real-world work experience and an advantage over graduates from other programs in getting the job you want. The Industrial Maintenance curriculum includes instruction in areas including electricity, fluid power, mechanics, fabrication and robotics, as well as advanced manufacturing, business principles and best practices. Upon completion of the program, candidates will receive an associate's degree. In addition to in-depth instruction in manufacturing, the program includes semester-long modules in safety culture, workplace organization, lean manufacturing, problem-solving and maintenance reliability. It emphasizes attendance, initiative, diligence, verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills and professionalism.
