Licensed Practical Nurse

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are certified healthcare professionals who play a vital role in providing basic patient care. Working under the supervision of either a Registered Nurse (RN) or doctor, LPNs help patients in many ways, from collecting admissions information to preparing for medical examinations to administering medicines and injections prescribed by the physicians.

One of the best things about being an LPN is that jobs are available virtually everywhere across the country. Wherever you choose to live, you can expect job opportunities near you in hospitals, medical clinics, residential care facilities and other healthcare environments. LPNs are in high demand now and the demand is projected to continue growing in the future.

You can become an LPN with just two years of community training, so learn more about this rewarding career today.
